VIVOTEK FD8161 is a professional network dome camera that provides excellent image quality and exceptional bandwidth efficiency. This model is specially suited for wide spaces such as building entrances and airports, or applications requiring increased identification of a human face or license plates. The camera is equipped with a 2-megapixel sensor, thus is able to provide extremely wide coverage with the highest detail. Along with the field of view 6 times larger than a standard VGA camera, FD8161 significantly reduces the number of installed cameras. FD8161 supports H.264 compression technology, greatly reducing the file size and the number of occupied bandwidth. Trim function allows you to delete unnecessary information and transmitting only a selected portion of the image to optimize bandwidth and disk space usage. EPTZ function allows the user to approach several different zones in view of the camera without any physical displacement of the camera. All this along with many streams, which can transmit individually configured video for viewing on different platforms. FD8161 is able to meet the various needs and types of bandwidth. The camera is supplied with a mechanical IR cut filter and IR illuminators (15 meters) to provide clean and sharp images 24 hours a day. More advanced solutions include PIR (passive infrared), 3-axis mechanism for easy installation, 802.3af PoE, SD / SDHC, tamper detection and two-way audio via SIP protocol.
