IP8172P VIVOTEK offers an excellent quality 5 megapixel camera. The camera captures a much larger field of view than a standard VGA camera, significantly reducing the number of required cameras. This is particularly useful for monitoring open areas such as the entrance to the building, airports or applications requiring accurate identification.

IP8172P is equipped with many advanced features that allow users to fully enjoy the high quality picture. Thanks to the highly efficient compression technology, H.264 / MPEG-4 / MJPEG camera offers superior video quality in full HD resolution at 30 frames per second, using a minimum bandwidth. Video trimming function allows the user to transfer to viewing only the regions defined by the user, instead of the whole scene, which may also be used to optimize the bandwidth and increase the storage space. EPTZ feature allows you to zoom and focusing on the region of interest in the view of the camera.

Additional features that give the user greater flexibility and efficiency include WDR, which allows users to identify image details in extremely contrasting conditions. Focus Assist helps the installer to accurately adjust the camera. After pressing the Focus Assist on the device, the screen display will show along with detailed information focusing, which will vary with manual adjustment. In addition, holding down the button you will be magnified area designed for fine-tuning, resulting in better functionality and picture quality.
